Accommodation: Whether you are visiting the KwaZulu Natal Midlands for business, pleasure, or planning a meeting, or you are here for a company incentive program, a family weekend, romantic break, organizing a student trip, or for your ‘peace of mind’ weekend, then Stonehaven Lodge and Conference Centre is always ready to welcome you and help you make the best out of it with the best accommodation and conferencing facilities. Accommodation options include: 1) Five Family Rooms – double bed with either bunk beds or 3rd single bed 2) Twelve Twin Rooms – 2 single beds 3) Thirteen Double Rooms – 1 double bed All rooms include: - En-suite bathrooms and shower. - Heating system. - In-room facilities include tea and coffee-making facilities, electric blankets, duvets and heaters. - Carpeted Floors. - Laundry service available. Conferencing and Meetings Stonehaven Lodge Conference Centre provides for a great variety of functions, ranging from boardroom meetings for 30 delegates, U – shape for 40 delegates, Schoolroom for 50 delegates, conferences up to 60 delegates (cinema style) and Formal dinners for 80 guests (banqueting). Situated adjacent to the Reception, This venue is also ideal for upmarket functions. Our conference room is equipped with wall to wall carpeting, fireplace, LCD Projector and screen, Whiteboard plus markers, DVD Player, flip chart stand plus paper and independently controlled light switches with dimmers. Our conference venue is also ideal for workshops up to 45 delegates. Standard conference equipment is provided and this includes the following: - Portable screen - Overhead Projector - Flipcharts and pens - Notepads and writing pens Additional equipment, such as LCD Projector, TV’s, DVD Players, Faxing and Photocopying services are available. The underground cellar is an elegant venue that caters for anniversaries, birthday parties and cocktail parties and cabarets. Theme evenings are catered for with a wide range of African decor available. Outdoor Venues: The Lodge has an exciting variety of outdoor venues, which are in high demand for theme evenings, cocktail receptions and traditional African barbecues. The dining room deck, which is overlooking the panoramic mountains and grasslands adjoining the Drakensburg, is ideal for a refreshing sun-downer behind the long and stressful day. Umbrellas are available in case of the hot days. The swimming pool area, also overlooking the beautiful mountain views is superb for the hot days while enjoying at couple of cold beers in a relaxed environment. We also cater for pool parties with cocktails at a reasonable price. Next to the swimming pool we have a childrens playground which includes a trampoline just to keep the young ones busy for the day. During the warm evening we also cater for group on the garden. This is most popular for typically African Barbecues with large bonfires that take you back in the days. Game drives are being organized and such arranged shall be negotiated at an early stage. Function Rooms: Function rooms will be assigned according to the number of guests and nature of the function. Management reserves the right to re-assign venues and inform the client accordingly. Any damage or loss caused by a group organiser or their guest will be charged to the client. Function room turn-around time constraints will be negotiated with the individual client, depending on the nature of the function and the venue being used. Venue Hire Venue hire will depend on the number of hotel rooms occupied and catering involved. Venue hire applies to any additional conference venues occupied. Rates can be obtained from the Reservations Department. |
